The Journal of the Faculty of Medicine Baghdad will adopt a New policy regarding (Data Sharing Policy) to be considered starting from the 1st of October 2025 for all submitted manuscripts to:

 Boosts citations and impact.
 Meets journal/funder requirements.
 Promotes collaboration and innovation.
 Protects ethical/legal standards for sensitive data.
 Supports long-term access via trusted repositories.
